Rory Hills

Rory has extensive experience in sales, research, and portfolio management in both traditional and alternative strategies. 

From 2009 through 2018, Rory was CIO of Hilltop Fund Management, a multi-manager business he had founded in 2009 to invest in alpha-centric, non-correlated strategies.

The strategy implemented at Hilltop echoed Rory’s approach to selecting managers whilst at Dexion Capital where he ran the firm’s Single Manager Marketing business, and was personally responsible for raising over $1bn into the funds he worked with.

Rory started his career at Cazenove working in the company’s New York and Singapore offices as well as in London. In 1994 he joined Crosby Securities, an Asian focused institutional brokerage firm, becoming Co-Head of Asian Equity Sales into the UK and Europe following the firm’s acquisition by SocGen in 1996 and two years later became Head of all Emerging Market Sales in Europe.
