Useful carbon resources

These links cover both: the emission trading carbon markets (also known as the ‘complianced’ or ‘Cap & Trade’ markets), and the Carbon Offset market, often referred to as the Voluntary market.

The International Emissions Trading Association (IETA) website is an excellent resource with well written 2-pagers covering: Cap & Trade emission trading; the Carbon Offset or Voluntary market; and Article 6 which, if it ever gets agreed, would create a third carbon market between countries.

The International Carbon Action Plan (ICAP) has a wealth of good information. In particular, their excellent infographics document but plenty of other reports on their website.
