This menu – showing the carbon footprint of each meal – provides a foretaste of what you can expect

This menu from a pub I walked into in the Lake District (when we were allowed to visits pubs!), provides a foretaste of what I think you can expect to see in the future: each item lists its associated CO2 emissions. I think this will become ubiquitous over the coming years, with consumers demanding more and more information so they can better understand (and seek to alter) their own carbon footprint. Although I am sure food will be a part of this, I think it will be fashion that leads the way – think calories for clothes!
